World Wide Web Day
Geckos from grade 1 to 7 recognized the world wide web day on campus. The www stated in 1989 with vision of Sir Tim Berners – Lee to share information across the world. He launched the first web server, web site and created the first web browser and editor. Since then the www has grown tremendously that 40% (3 billion people) of world’s population are online each day. Our Geckos made charts to learn how the web connects, shares and serves as an information management portal.
