Learning Outcome: Geckos were introduced to different types and styles of art and got an opportunity to practise the same under the supervision of the experts.
Art and design stimulates creativity and imagination. It provides visual, tactile and sensory experiences and a special way of understanding and responding to the world. To develop and demonstrate technical competence and artistic qualities that challenge and extend personal boundaries, our geckos from grade1 to 5 got an opportunity to participate in PYP Hyderabad Network Visual Art Fest 2017-18 on 6th March conducted in Glendale Creative Art Academy,Tellapur.
Geckos got an opportunity to identify the formal elements, material, and processes used in the creation of various art forms like portrait making, mask making, quilling, soft pastel colouring, Indian traditional art (Warli), collage, clay modelling, and pottery. Geckos showed curiosity ,asked questions and got an opportunity to share their ideas with the students of other schools. They learned new techniques and method from the instructor as well as from the peers.They enjoyed a lot and had knowledge sharing and gaining session.
