The geckos of Grade 2 were taken on an enchanting journey into time. The geckos ventured on a field trip to a clock shop as part of their inquiry topic on, ‘Time.’ Excited and inquisitive,the children were amazed to see the world full of different types of clocks and time-pieces.From the classic cuckoo clock to the latest smart watches and digital clocks, each timepiece lead to conversations, discussions and helped flourish new ideas. The children also got an inside peek into the mechanics of how a clock works. This gave them a deeper insight into the types of clocks and they also learnt about world’s slimmest watch. It was a great learning experience for our geckos – something that they will truly remember for a long, long ‘time.’
