Sports and games are the ways of enhancing the children’s mental and physical growth. Sports help them in character building and provides them energy and strength. A healthy diet and an active lifestyle will bring good results in our lifestyle, minds and bodies. Sports develop sense of friendliness among the children and develop their team spirit. They help the children to develop the mental and physical toughness. Sports activities shape their body and make it strong and active. Children should actively participate in the sports to avoid of being tired and lethargy. This is because sports improve their blood circulation and their physical well-being. To encourage the geckos were rewarded with gold, silver and bronze medal and also certificates for the ones who achieved victory.
Our valuable parents also participated in “BALANCING THE BALLOON IN THE AIR WITHOUT USING HANDS”, “DRAG THE BALL WITH THE HOOP”, “THROW THE BALL IN A TARGET” and “BEAN BAG TARGET” conducted by the triumph facilitators.
PP1 STUDENTS:
STUDENT ACTION: The geckos participated enthusiastically and with energy in all the sport activities. The geckos participated in event “DISPLAY” and this sport displayed the commitment the children had with each other. The second event was “BALOON BURSTING” in which the geckos displayed a sportive attitude and participated with zeal of achieving victory. The children displayed cooperative and non-competitive attitude throughout the event.
LEARNING OUTCOME: The geckos learnt to cope with the difficult situations, by displaying their feats before many spectators. The geckos learnt how to coordinate and cooperate to make any event a successful event. They understood the concept of teamwork and their confidence level has increased by this event participation.
NURSERY STUDENTS:
STUDENT ACTION: The geckos participated enthusiastically and with energy in all the sport activities. The geckos participated in event “BEAN BAG PICKUP GAME” and this sport displayed the identifying aspect and accurately taking instructions. The second event was “LET’S START JUMP” in which the children displayed cooperation and coordination on the rhythm and performed with energy. In all events the geckos displayed a sportive attitude and participated with zeal of achieving victory. The children displayed cooperative and non-competitive attitude throughout the event.

GRADES 1-3 STUDENTS:

The geckos participated in event “PARACHUTE” and this sport displayed the commitment the children had with each other. This sport also refined perceptual skills and also developed a sense of rhythm which strengthened the upper torso also primarily. The second event was “EAT UP THE BISCUIT” in which the geckos displayed a sportive attitude and participated with zeal of achieving victory. The children displayed cooperative and non-competitive attitude throughout the event.
LEARNING OUTCOME: The geckos learnt to cope with the difficult situations, by displaying their feats before many spectators. The geckos learnt how to coordinate and cooperate to make any event a successful event. They understood the concept of teamwork and their confidence level has increased by this event participation.
GRADES 4-7 STUDENTS:
STUDENT ACTION:The geckos participated enthusiastically and with energy in all the sport activities. The geckos participated in event “CLEAN THE FIELD” and this sport displayed the exercise behaviour and they enjoyed identifying the bean bags.The geckos displayed a sportive attitude and participated with zeal of achieving victory. The children displayed cooperative and non-competitive attitude throughout the event.
LEARNING OUTCOME: The geckos got acknowledged to physical exercises and have enthusiastically participated in the sport activity. They were able to identify their bean bags and performed their task with confidence. The geckos co-ordinated and have taken all instructions patiently and worked accordingly.
