Today we had a guest talk by Krishna Prem Kumar from 8th grade. He is a bird watcher for the Hyderabad Birding Pals. He told us about how he got his passion for birdwatching and also about many types of birds. We were amazed to know about so many varieties of birds. He told us about his camera which had an awesome zoom feature which helps his pictures look almost real. But the most important thing I understood from his guest speech was that a passion or a dream doesn’t see your age, it sees your commitment and dedication to achieve your goal. If you want to reach your goal, no matter how old you are, no matter how disabled you are, if you have the passion to achieve your goal, you can. Saluting all young people who have had the passion and courage to pursue their dreams and achieve their goals.

About the Author: The Gaudium
Can education move from merely imparting knowledge to showing how to apply that knowledge? Can we as parents move from mindless test-scores to a more meaningful method of evaluation? Can a child be taught to recognise and create value in everything he does? These were some questions that inspired The Gaudium. Gaudium means ‘Joy’ in Latin. At The Gaudium, we will help each child find joy through the core values of Integrity, Perseverance, Compassion, Appreciation, Humility, Respect and Tolerance.
