Our geckos conducted a Pet Parade in the campus: Preparation of the parade started by making the mask of the pets they have chosen to be. They made the masks with different craft materials like crepe paper, chart paper, cotton, fevicol, colour paints etc. They made masks of the pets like cat, dog and rabbit. They pasted eyes, ears, nose, whiskers, and mouth on their masks and went on a parade around the school campus. The parade was based on the following criteria:
- Name of the animal mask they made.
- Pet or wild animal.
- Actions and moves made by the animal.
- Where do they live? House/Farm/Forest.
Children were super excited and curious to perform and act as an animal they like. This nurtured and developed their enthusiasm, curiosity towards pets. The parade ended with lots of chocolates and accolades.
