A beautiful parrot visited our playgroup class on 16th March 2017. Student of grade 1, Samhitha, presented her pet parrot ‘Sweetheart’ to the class. She shared her experiences with the parrot about how she takes care and feeds it. Geckos were very excited to see the parrot. They enjoyed hearing the sounds of the parrot. The geckos enjoyed watching the parrot going upside down the cage and few of them fed the parrot with chilies. The geckos identified the various colours on the parrot and few also identified the black beak. They sang few rhymes like Chi, Chi, I am a lonely bird, Tota hu main tota hu, etc. The geckos also gave the thank you card to Samhitha for bringing her parrot to the school.
