The pandemic has altered life as we know it. It has taken a toll not only on the physical and mental well-being of individuals but has also left a huge dent on the economy. The economy which is the backbone of any country is struggling to get back on its feet. As a part of this month’s activity students prepared a presentation on the economic implications of the Covid-19 for India. The students gathered data on the economic activities of the country as well as the policies undertaken to revive the economy for the last three months. They critically evaluated every forecast made and put forward their own opinions on the same. The task challenged the students to think beyond and critically enough to put forward and censure the current forewarning. The task aligned the students with research and forecasting to set forth their aptitude in risk taking and analyzing polices and not just accepting anything at the face value.

About the Author: The Gaudium
Can education move from merely imparting knowledge to showing how to apply that knowledge? Can we as parents move from mindless test-scores to a more meaningful method of evaluation? Can a child be taught to recognise and create value in everything he does? These were some questions that inspired The Gaudium. Gaudium means ‘Joy’ in Latin. At The Gaudium, we will help each child find joy through the core values of Integrity, Perseverance, Compassion, Appreciation, Humility, Respect and Tolerance.
