The geckos visited a eucalyptus plant nursery. Working in the nursery helped them to learn about vegetative propagation. They learnt that plants not only grow from seeds but from other parts of the plants as well. The geckos learnt the various stages involved in vegetative propagation. The learnt how to snip the leaves and branches, then they were taught to plant the snipped branches in coconut peat which allows them to the branches to breathe.
Then the geckos went to polyhouse or green house where the planted specimens are kept in humid environment. The geckos thoroughly enjoyed their trip to nursery. The geckos volunteered whole heartedly and enjoyed their trip.
