The Gaudium geckos were given an opportunity to attend the “Exprimere: Music and Dance festival” at The Meridian School. It was an opportunity to understand how to explore and express ourselves in many different ways through performing arts. There were lots of workshops planned for children to grasp the knowledge of different aspects of performing arts. The “Dance to Express” workshop enabled the geckos to explore the “Navarasas” and how to emote them through dance. Mr. Samuel Mobo’s “Global Beats” workshop exposed the students to the indigenous sounds of Africa, providing insight on how musical diversity and varies around the world.
Our geckos enjoyed the session and learnt a lot. It was an enriching experience for our geckos.
