Guest talks provide an enriching educational experience to the students as they get an insight into and a perspective from the experiences of a guest speaker. It helps students build important connections between what they are learning in their homeroom with the real world.
In connection with our ongoing Unit of Inquiry under the theme ‘How we organize ourselves’, we had a guest talk by our AGM, Lieutenant Commander Hem Kumar Naidu, on communities. His guest talk gave an insight into our geckos about the roles and responsibilities of people who belong to the Army, Navy and Air Force community in protecting our country.
The session was very interactive and engaging as the geckos responded well to the questions posed by our guest speaker. They further exhibited curiosity and inquisitiveness as they inquired about the Armed Forces Community.
