We continued our inquiry topic ‘Senses’ by advancing to the next stage ‘Making Connection’. While the geckos reflected upon their learning so far, we invited a guest to enlighten our children on ‘health and hygiene of sense organs’.
Mrs. Anupama our school nurse engaged our geckos in a very interactive session where she dealt with various techniques to take care of our eyes, ears, nose, tongue and skin. They geckos participated enthusiastically and confidently came forward to co- operate with the nurse as she demonstrated how to clean the sense organs. The geckos thoroughly enjoyed this learning lesson as they promised to practice these tips in their daily routine.
