In connection to their inquiry on “Economic Activities”, Grade 5 geckos have visited a local market on 16th Dec, 2016 to enhance their learning about the exchange of goods and services, demand and supply, and the different channels of distribution the producer uses to supply the product to the consumer. The geckos have exhibited their communication skills as they interacted with the local shop keepers and vegetable vendors and asked many questions related to exchange of goods and services. They also had hands on learning experience on buying various goods (vegetables) and exchange of money. They visited a variety of shops like wholesale and retail, hardware and electrical shops, garment shops, bakery and sweet shop etc…Indeed it was a good learning experience for all the geckos.
