About Debendra Kumar Sahoo

Debendra kumar Sahoo is a skilled and proficient artist having experience in teaching IB PYP, MYP & DP program. He holds a master’s degree in sculpture from Utkal university of culture,Odisha. With over 14 years of cumulative experience (7 years in education and 7 years in the animation industry) he has been teaching the IB program at The Gaudium School since 2015. For more than 18 years he has been practicing art, exploring and experimenting with different art forms and mediums. He has participated in numerous regional, national and international art camps, IB workshops and exhibition and received many accolades at national level. He believes art is a language of thought which must be accessible to all students, not just the talented or well-connected few. It is essential for both teachers and students to work together to explore their own stories.
