About Bindiya Jena

Ms. Bindiya Jena, MYP Coordinator at The Gaudium School, is a passionate IB practitioner with 10 years of experience in the leading schools. She has served as Assistant MYP Coordinator and a member of the Pedagogical Leadership Team in the past two years and has conducted various trainings to empower students and faculty alike to be agentic, giving each choice, voice, and ownership of their learning, explored through a global interdisciplinary lens. Being an Engineering graduate in Information Technology and a lifelong learner she is currently pursuing her online Master’s of Education in Advance teaching from UO People University. Well versed in digital literacy, she promotes a constructivist approach to inquiry, concept-driven, and problem-based learning, which promotes understanding and develops students’ higher-order thinking and reasoning skills.
