As a part of the unit of inquiry under the theme ‘How we express ourselves’, our learners of Nursery were mesmerized by the stories narrated by parent volunteers who came dressed as ‘Mystery readers’. They captivated our learners’ attention through different actions, manipulatives, masks, and voice modulation to introduce different characters. Our curious learners actively participated and responded when prompted by the mystery reader. This learning engagement helped the learners in understanding the different ways of expressing stories.
It was a joyful experience for the students, and they enjoyed imitating the sounds of animals with the narrator.
