The Cambridge curriculum welcomed the festival of lights with a beautiful assembly on the theme of Diwali on 12th November 2020 embracing new changes and alighting the atmosphere.

“Remember, hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies.” Shawshank Redemption

An aura of exuberance consumed the Gaudium family as the geckos went Dishoom-Dishoom against all odds with the ultimate “Brahmastra”, the “HOPE.” Amidst the topsy-turvy life of COVID-19, our geckos paraded a fireball of scintillating Diwali celebrations.

An inspiring display of hope and endurance mingled with fun, elated the spirit of every member of the Gaudium family. While our geckos affirmed a positive tomorrow through passing the lamp of hope, their belief in the core values was demonstrated through their philanthropic endeavours. Their affinity towards the underprivileged reaffirmed that humanity will be preserved by these bright souls in the coming future.

The MCs Avanish and Nikitha of Grade 9 had filled zest in each and everyone through their words. The inspiring speech by Dhriti of Grade 6B, on the importance of the Diwali celebration and Anandi Pant’s song on Diwali, had filled the atmosphere with exuberance and joy.

The delicacies, coconut burfi and besan laddu, shared by our youngsters, Sanjeev and Palash, added a magical feel to the occasion. The thoughtful words of our beloved Principal that “the essence of this festival is not about having more but about giving and being more,” did truly strike the right note with the listeners.

The special assembly ended on a very happy note with all the participants excited and eagerly awaiting the festivities to follow the next day!
