“JOY TO THE WORLD “this being reason for the season and soaking in the spirits of Christmas the geckos from nursery to grade 5 have celebrated the festival on 22nd December 2018 in the school campus. A special assembly for the geckos was held in the school premises. The entire campus was festooned with colourful streamers and balloons and brightly decorated bay.
A Christmas tree was decorated well with beautiful Christmas bling’s which added flavour for the season. The guests on the occasion were our beloved Director and principal. The festive spirit was witnessed among the school staff and students of the Gaudium family.
The programme began with the welcome speech about the festival and followed by the pre-primary and primary sections performances. They emphasized the importance of caring and sharing and spreading goodness all around. The children spread cheer with their smiles and lovely attire. Our principal, expressed his delight on seeing such enthusiasm in the children who brought the spirit of Christmas to life. The geckos have showcased beautiful nativity skit enlightened everyone in the campus about the importance of the festival.
It was really a beautiful sight to watch when the geckos were performing. All the geckos grooved together for good number of carols. Our campus was no less than breathing joy and happiness throughout the celebration which was amply visible on the faces of the Gaudium family members. The time of the hour has come, and it is our super special guest Santa Claus by himself was on the house. Children looked jaw dropped when the Santa Claus made grand entry by moving around the campus singing all the way and flying in some chocolates for the geckos.
This ride of Santa has drove the children to endless happiness, they were so amazed to watch him and dance along with him. The geckos gave adorable poses while the photographer captured these amazing moments. It was surely a Christmas to remember at the Gaudium this would really be a memorable day for the geckos as they shared the joy and happiness with their peers.
