The Gaudium saw a shiny and colorful day where all the geckos, facilitators and staff were traditionally dressed to celebrate the holy month of Ramadan. The day started at the assembly with a brief introduction on Ramadan and singing the “Na`at” poem. Four students from each grade 1 to 7 participated in a small play to show the significance and the rituals of Ramadan. Grade 2 geckos recited a Hindi poem “Dharti Hum Sab Ki Eak”.The Gaudium facilitators and staff prepared the special festive dessert “Sheer khurma” that was served to all students and staff. We also received donations from parents that students distributed to all aayammas and drivers.
